Installation of release version

• You can install and run ControlPanel-OPC-Server, but you need a royalty free license-soft-key
• ProgID is "Beckhoff.ControlPanelOpcServerDA"
  

Installation requirements

• Win9x / WinMe / NT4 (SP4 minimum) / Windows 2000 / Windows XP
• Note: Microsoft XML Parser 3 (SP1) comes with ControlPanel-OPC-Server installation

Quick startup

Note: All described steps have to be done just once !

• Install ControlPanel- OPC- Server and reboot the machine
• Edit OPC-Server configuration file e.g. CpOpcSvrCfg.XML with e.g. notepad :
      - <Address>835584</Address>: Enter the correct DPRAM adress of your CP-Link card CP9030 like "835584" (-> 0xCC000) or "837632"  (-> 0xCC800)
      - <LinkedDevice>CP7021-1026.xml</LinkedDevice>: Enter the correct ControlPanel type
  
• Start "CpOpcStartUp.exe" and select the OPC-Server configuration file that you configured previously (e.g. CpOpcSvrCfg.XML). 
  CpOpcStartUp.exe will check the XML-file and validate the syntax for you. If errors are displayed correct XML-Syntax in the XML-configuration file.
  
• Finished ! 
  Start your OPC-Client application and browse into ControlPanel-OPC-Server which has ProgID "Beckhoff.ControlPanelOpcServerDA"
